Dear Owners,

 

Please take notice of the Special Membership Meeting for Willow Walk Community Association, Inc, that will take place at the Palmetto Public Library located at 923 6‘h ST. W. Palmetto FL. 34221 on August 25, 2022, at 5:30 PM.

 

Enclosed you will find a copy of the proposed amendments, limited proxy, and the agenda for the meeting. There are (4) membership items for the membership to vote on. The votes are to amend Declaration Article III, Section 5 to state that maintenance, removal, replacement, and planting of front yard trees must comply with current Architectural Guidelines. Amend Declaration Article III, Section 6 to state that Street Trees are prohibited. (Currently, no Street Trees exist in the community). Amend Declaration Article III, Section 13 to clarify the definition of “regular use” of the street for parking. This is currently undefined. The proposed definition is “the same vehicle being parked on the street for more than one (1) hour on at least three (3) occasions in a calendar month.” Amend Declaration Article III, Section 13 to require new owners ol homes to own the home for one (1) year before renting it.

 

For the meeting to commence the Association will need to reach a quorum (a majority of the eligible voting membership). This means that the Association will need 180 members  represented either in person or by the enclosed proxy. I+ you cannot attend, it is important that you return your proxy form.

REMEMBER: if you are not able to attend the meeting, please fill out the enclosed proxy and return it to the address below no later than August 25th, 2022. Proxy’s may be hand delivered to Bill McGann the day of the Special Membership meeting, prior to the commencement of the meeting.
